AM541- Design Thesis 2

The purpose for this module is to enable the students to embark in research study in Urban Design
and Architecture. By understanding the data, information and knowledge will trigger an
understanding of new research, which then will be interpreted into writing on the subject matter.

Objectives:

-To instill research commitment, both fundamental and applied.
Education that is directed more towards self-realization and realistic practice of
architecture.
-To encourage critical knowledge areas that call for creative,technical, environmental & historical competence.
-To strengthen the quality of student design work & the creativeness of their creative
production.
-To develop excellence for integrated design.
